Carina Jacob
Carina was called to the Bar in 2016, and served her pupillage under P J Combrinck SC, after having completed articles and practicing as an admitted as an attorney with right of appearance.
Carina has a litigation practice focusing particularly in areas relating to the National Credit Act, contractual disputes, personal injury claims, motor vehicle collisions and criminal matters. Her practice is predominantly a trial practice.
Carina has been the external examiner of civil procedure for the University of KwaZulu-Natal since 2019 and was accredited as an advocacy trainer in 2021.
Outside of the bar, Carina has dedicated most of her life to martial arts, including but not limited to karate and kickboxing. She is a table top gamer having competed at a national level in 2013, as well as a fountain pen and bonsai enthusiast. In Carina’s spare time she chats to her fur babies in hopes that one day they will say thank you for the food.
